Nepal Beats HongKong by 2 wickets

In a first match for qualifying process for the ICC World Twenty20 ,to be held in Sri Lanka in 2012 Nepal made a nearest win by two wickets against Hong Kong. The myrepublica.com posted:

Nepal successfully chased down the 115-run target losing eight wickets in the last ball of the innings. Skipper Paras Khadka played a crucial knock of 44 runs to help the hosts cruise home.

Other major contributors to Nepal´s run chase include Gyanendra Malla (19) and Basanta Regmi (17 not out). Hong Kong´s I Ahmed accounted for three Nepali scalps.

And Nepal will play next round with UAE in the Kirtipur ground, TU on Sunday.
