Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced to hold the 18th CAN Info-Tech at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap. The event will run from 26th January to 31st January 2012, and will be different than previous years.
According to CAN, CAN Info-Tech 2012 will bring a new enthusiast to every tech-lovers, exhibitors, and visitors. The six-day expo is expected to be helpful in promoting the IT sector of Nepal, offering different platform for latest products and interactions for the IT sector.
Being the largest event in the country in terms of visitor turnout, responsibilities and challenges are more. Speaking to Republica, President of CAN Suresh K. Karna, said that, crowd control which had been a decade long problem and will be highly prioritized for management. Considering this, CAN is allowing separate passages for general pass holders and fast-track pass holders so that the event gets a more organized look.
Aside trade, CAN Info-Tech 2012 will focus on branding; how brands will interact with visitors/customers. CAN believes that ICT brands will get a better platform for their new products and information & ideas exchanges. CAN ICT conference will keep continuing, and this time extending it to altogether two days.
