Kathmandu. The Tribhuvan Highway, which was obstructed for about five hours, has been reopened with the initiative of the District Administration Office, Makwanpur. <\/p>\n
Following the disruption, Chief District Officer Basanta Adhikari and Assistant Chief District Officer Mohan Joshi had reached the site and took initiative for the resumption of the road. <\/p>\n
Superintendent of Police (SP) Shyam Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office, Makwanpur, Inspector Raju Bista of District Traffic Police Office, Makwanpur, Superintendent of Police (SP) Niman Khadka, Chief of Armed Police Force, Makwanpur, and officials of security bodies have been mobilized to resume the road operation. <\/p>\n
The blocked road has been reopened after the coordination and continuous efforts of the concerned bodies. The administration, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and other stakeholders have played an active role in opening the road. <\/p>\n
On this occasion, free food was distributed to the passengers and the general public at the initiative of the District Administration Office, Makawanpur. <\/p>\n
Chief District Officer Adhikari said that they have been working day and night to open the highway through telephone contact. His activism has been praised at the local level for leading the rescue, management and road operation by reaching the incident site himself during disasters and road blockades. <\/p>\n
