KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel has left for Beijing today on a week-long official visit to China. <\/p>\n
During the visit, CoAS Sigdel will participate in the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum to be held in Beijing from September 13-19. <\/p>\n
According to the Nepal Army, the Chinese visit is expected to further expand the military-to-military relations between Nepal and China and contribute to bolstering Nepal’s overall foreign policy through military diplomacy. <\/p>\n
Before leaving for Beijing, Chief of Army Staff Sigdel was given a guard of honour by a contingent of the Nepal Army at the Army Headquarters. After this, Chief of General Staff Pradeep Jung KC bid farewell to him at Tribhuvan International Airport. <\/p>\n
