Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has been appointed as the Acting Prime Minister of Nepal after Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to attend the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations. <\/p>\n<p>Shah is leaving Kathmandu for New York at 7:00 pm today to attend the United Nations General Assembly. <\/p>\n<p>He had recommended to President Ram Chandra Poudel to give the responsibility of acting prime minister to Finance Minister Wagle in his absence. On the basis of this recommendation, President Poudel appointed Finance Minister Wagle as the acting prime minister. <\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 22.
