Kathmandu. <\/strong> Wife murdered with a sharp weapon in Dhanusha. Her husband, who was accused of being involved in the incident, was later found hanging. The couple’s four-year-old son was injured in the incident. <\/p>\n

According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, Umesh Yadav, 35, of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality-4, Bharatpur, had gone to his in-laws’ house with his wife at around 9 pm on October 22. He was staying at his in-laws’ house in Mithila Bihari Municipality-3, Mithileshwor. <\/p>\n

Police had received information that Umesh had attacked his wife Reena Yadav, 30, and their four-year-old son, Samrat Yadav, who were sleeping with them at around 1:50 am on October 22. <\/p>\n

After receiving the information, a police team under the command of Police Inspector Rajesh Kumar Sharma from Area Police Office, Dhanushadham reached the spot. The police team found Reena’s body with a sharp weapon injury on her neck and her body was found dead. <\/p>\n

According to the police, the child Samrat also sustained a cut injury on his right thigh. The injured child was immediately taken to a local clinic and sent to the Provincial Hospital Janakpur for further treatment. According to the police, the condition of the child is normal. <\/p>\n

The police have also recovered a blood-stained knife from the spot. Umesh fled from the spot after the murder of his wife and attack on his son. <\/p>\n

Police had found Umesh’s body hanging from a mango tree at Mithila Bihari Municipality-2, one kilometer west of the incident site. <\/p>\n

The police have sent Reena’s body to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur for post-mortem. The first incident site has been completed while the process of recording the second incident where Umesh’s body was found is underway, police said. <\/p>\n

The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal said that further investigation is underway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
