Kathmandu. The government has extended the deadline for updating the details of the companies that have not submitted the annual report for a long time and are yet to go to the liquidation process. <\/p>\n
Earlier, the deadline was extended by two months till the end of November. According to the Office of the Company Registrar, if the tax, fees and fees are paid as per the rules of the fiscal year 2082\/83, the taxes, fees, fees and fines of all the previous financial years will be waived. <\/p>\n
Registrar of the office, Krishna Kumari Shrestha, urged the company directors to update the details on time and take advantage of the facility of waiving the fine. The number of new companies being registered at the office has also increased. In the fiscal year 2081\/82, 20,736 companies were registered, while in the fiscal year 2082\/83, 26,291 companies were registered. <\/p>\n
In the last fiscal year, 5,555 more companies were registered as compared to the previous fiscal year. According to Registrar Shrestha, 10,480 companies have been registered till October 26 in the current fiscal year. <\/p>\n
