Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) senior leader Balen Shah has claimed to make the far-western region prosperous and self-reliant. Addressing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)&#8217;s transformation manifesto meeting here today, he said his party only had the power to fulfill the dream of building a far-western country. <\/p>\n<p>He pledged to end the situation of people being deprived of education and health services due to financial constraints. &#8220;There is no money in pocket, poor people should get education and health,&#8221; he said, adding, &#8220;The road to be constructed in two years will not be completed even in 20 years. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Stating that delay in infrastructure development would not be tolerated, he said road construction would be prioritized. &#8220;It can be done by tying it to a tree, sleeping on the road, going to a cage or making a road,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>He claimed that if the RSP joins the government, a way will be made for the cadres of all political parties including NC, UML and Maoist Center and the general public. <\/p>\n<p>Stating that there was talk of turning Nepal into Switzerland, he said the far-west region was a mine of natural and tourism potential. &#8220;People say the country should be made into Switzerland, but Switzerland&#8217;s father Badimalika is here,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Ramaroshan is the pinnacle of Switzerland, Khaptad National Park is here, why did Switzerland have to be built?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Giving examples of places like Badimalika, Ramaroshan and Khaptad National Park, he stressed the need of highlighting the identity and potential of the far-west region at the national level. &#8220;We Nepalis have not been able to show the things that have happened, we have not been able to connect the far-western region,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>Underlining the need of cultural and emotional unity between the far-west and Kathmandu, he stressed the need of establishing the identity of the far-western region at the national level. &#8220;The far-western region is connected to the day the songs of the far-west play in the squares of Kathmandu, and finally the far-west is connected to Kathmandu,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>In the meeting, he claimed that the RSP has come to ask for work, not to ask for votes. &#8220;The Rastriya Swatantra Party has not come here to ask for votes, it has come to ask for work. Give me work,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Even if you don&#8217;t vote, the Rastriya Swatantra Party will make it far. Even if you don&#8217;t vote, give a list of tasks.
