The blacktopping of the Dhulikhel-Khawa road section of the Araniko Highway has begun. According to the Road Division Office, Bhaktapur, the blacktopping work has begun from Dhulikhel Chowk. &#8220;In the first phase of the 4-km Dhulikhel-Khawa road, 2. In the second phase, 5 km of the road will be blacktopped. It will be 5 kilometers blacktopped. <\/p>\n<p>The blacktopping of the road at Takucha area, which has been in limbo for years, has begun. Last time, Gauri Parbati Construction Service was awarded the contract to complete the project in 22 months on June 5, 2022. The Road Division Office, Bhaktapur had cancelled the contract on March 9, 2081 after the deadline for the construction of the road could not be completed even after 11 months of the expiry of the deadline. <\/p>\n<p>A new contract was opened in August last year with the aim of completing the work in 14 months by cancelling the old contract. A new contract has been awarded with a period of 14 months with the guarantee of Rs 420 million from the government of Nepal.
