Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the people have punished the people for their weaknesses and aberrations during their stay in power. <\/p>\n
Addressing a programme organized to mark the establishment day of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) on Wednesday, he said the people had given him an opportunity to correct themselves. <\/p>\n
He admitted that garbage was piling up in the party when he was in power. He said that the people did not hate it, but taught them to take a bath and return after bathing because the garbage was accumulated. According to him, the current political setback should be taken as an opportunity for reform by making serious introspection. He said that the communist movement would be further strengthened if we could move ahead learning from these experiences. <\/p>\n
“The communist movement has suffered a setback momentarily now, so we should learn from that,” he said. These are the shocks that are eaten, from time to time. They are also an opportunity to clean up the garbage that has accumulated inside us. Perhaps when we were in power, when we were in power, a lot of garbage was accumulating inside us. <\/p>\n
Now the people have not hated us, they have taught us a lesson to take a bath. So we should take this as an opportunity to clean up the garbage and also as an opportunity to improve it. \u2019<\/p>\n
