Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chang Maoming and Indian Ambassador Nabin Srivastava held a meeting with Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar on Friday. <\/p>\n
During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador held extensive discussions on strengthening practical cooperation based on mutual benefit between Nepal and China, according to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
In particular, the two sides exchanged views on how to effectively address regional energy challenges. <\/p>\n
Likewise, the government has made the energy and water resources sector as an important basis of mutual cooperation and expressed commitment for cooperation for common prosperity and people’s welfare. <\/p>\n
Similarly, during the meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal, matters of cooperation in energy and water resources sectors were discussed. According to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, the meeting emphasized the shared vision of sustainable development and expansion of regional connectivity by further strengthening the long-term partnership between Nepal and India. <\/p>\n
