Kathmandu. Member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, Harka Sampang, has written an open letter objecting to the government’s working style. In the letter, Sampang raised serious questions about border security, the problem of squatters and the country’s economy. <\/p>\n
He questioned why the government remained silent when India was constructing road to Kailash Mansarovar via Lipulek of Nepal. He demanded that Nepal, India, China and the United Nations be held quadrilateral talks to save the border. <\/p>\n
He expressed outrage that the army had been made personal guards of ministers or put on the task of opening doors. He argued that the army should be deployed at the border for border security as the border has been encroached due to the lack of army on the border. <\/p>\n
Sampang has suggested to the government that it is using dozers to demolish the houses of the poor, saying that the dozers busy in the Nsukum settlements should not be sent to open the flood-damaged roads in Roshi Khola and other places and for disaster management<\/p>\n

He has demanded an immediate stop to sinking the country by taking foreign loans. “If we cannot run the state in balance, we should resign and pave the way,” the letter reads. <\/p>\n
