A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) challenging the recommendation of Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma for the post of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. <\/p>\n<p>Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi argued that the recommendation of the Chief Justice was prima facie against the basic concept of the constitution and would be a serious interference in judicial independence. <\/p>\n<p>Senior advocate Tripathi said that the writ petition has been filed demanding mandamus order to recommend the first rank by annulling it as it was trying to bring the judiciary under the jurisdiction of the executive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
