Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyanendra Shahi has appealed to Labour and Culture Party Chairman and lawmaker Harka Sampang not to resign from the post. <\/p>\n
Sharing a post on social media, Shahi clarified that there was no reason to demand the resignation of the incumbent Prime Minister. <\/p>\n
Stating that the people have cast their vote against the forces that looted the country and indulged in corruption for the past 35 years, he stressed the need of respecting the people’s mandate and people’s mandate. Pointing out the need for all to work together to take the country forward, Shahi said that their only demand is for the Prime Minister to be democratic and accountable to the parliament. “Our only demand is that the prime minister should be democratic and accountable to the parliament. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said that the Prime Minister should respect the parliament as it is the place to speak the voice of the people and the supreme democratic forum for the government to make the voice of the people heard.
