Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 2,641 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. A total of Rs 22,96,508 revenue has been deposited in the state treasury through this. <\/p>\n
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 79 were taken for drunken driving, 147 for ride-sharing law, 154 for breaching signal lights and 122 for speeding. <\/p>\n
Similarly, action taken for flouting lane discipline, 113 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 119 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 100 for one-way driving and 1,688 for violating other traffic rules were taken. <\/p>\n
