Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has termed the government’s 100-day tenure as immature and unstable. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a programme organized to welcome the new entrants into the party at the UML party headquarters in Chyasal on Thursday, Oli said that journalists often question the government’s performances. <\/p>\n
He criticized the government’s working style by saying that the pictures of bulldozers being used in squatters, children crying and displacement were seen in the media. <\/p>\n
He said that there is less place to be happy in Nepal at present and the situation has come to enjoy only watching international football tournaments. <\/p>\n
“Journalist brothers and sisters often ask me questions about how did you feel about the 100-day tenure of the government. You can see it. He has published his own photographs of the squatters. You have published photos of children crying profusely. You have been printing and circulating the dozers in the slums. Giving an example of the government’s situation, Oli compared it to boiling milk. He said that even if two mana of milk is heated in a vessel that goes to a pathi, it is not actually filled but only boiled. <\/p>\n
“Where is this government now? Where are its feet on the ground? They are boiling. The milk is not at the bottom of the pot, the pot is full, it is boiling,” he said. <\/p>\n
He claimed that the government’s 100 days of work seemed to be a similar “boiling”. <\/p>\n
Objecting to the remark that UML has ended, he said that UML is a party born for nation building and success. <\/p>\n
“People say that UML is over, UML is over. UML is not a party born to end. It is a party born to grow, to succeed and to build the country,” he said. <\/p>\n
