Hetauda, June 17: The flooded Karra River in Hetauda Sub-metropolis-17 of Makwanpur district has swept away empty trucks. <\/p>\n<p>According to the police, a 12-wheeler truck (Na 7 Kha 765) was returning from the cement factory after the water level rose in the culvert near Shivam Cement Factory at around 7.45 am on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, driver Deepak Thing, 34, of Ratnanagar municipality-13 of Chitwan was swept away by the accident. He managed to swim out on his own but suffered minor injuries in his leg, police said. <\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, a police team reached the incident site and made necessary arrangements. Injured Thing has been sent to Raju Medical Center in Hetauda-Chaughada for treatment. <\/p>\n<p>No human casualties have been reported in the incident, police said.
