Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The third edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL) is set to kick off from November 22. <\/p>\n
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the date of the tournament and announced that the NPL will be held from October 24 to November 22. According to a press release issued by CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, the date of NPL falls between Dashain and Tihar. <\/p>\n
CAN has said that it is preparing to run the games on other days except the two days of Tihar. <\/p>\n
Earlier, the NPL was held in November after Tihar. The auction for the third edition of the tournament has already been completed. The participating teams are now in the process of signing foreign players. <\/p>\n
Since the very first edition of the NPL, the tournament has gained a lot of popularity in Nepali cricket. The first edition of the tournament was won by Janakpur Bolts while the second edition was won by Lumbini Lions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
