Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has openly challenged him to be removed from the post. “Remove the president! Is he a member of the party or not?” asked Oli while addressing a program organized in Ilam. <\/p>\n
Giving an open challenge, he said, “Remove the party chairman! He has asked for tea, he has tea. Removal of the chairman? When to remove it! Don’t remove it. If it’s late, remove it quickly. \u2019<\/p>\n
Stating that indiscipline and anarchy have surfaced in the party, he warned not to talk about removing the chairman in a joke. “Let’s sit in the canteen of the party office and remove the chairman as if it is a joke,” he said. <\/p>\n
Chairman Oli also questioned whether the person who is saying that he will be removed from the post of chairman is a member of the party or not. He said that the party chairman will not be removed just by drinking tea and gossiping. He adds, “What a joke!” <\/p>\n
Some people have started a signature campaign to remove KP Sharma Oli from the post of UML chairman. Chairman Oli also expressed his displeasure over this. “Someone is signing to remove the president,” he said. There is no strength behind it, there is nothing,” he said, “Neither the party’s method nor the statute. There was a general convention. He may have participated in it himself. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said that there will be a method and time for what to do in the party. Chairman Oli said, “It is becoming difficult for us to face the opposition forces whenever they are attacking. At that time, the entire party has said that it will remove the chairman within the party at a time where the whole party has to face and fight. Now all these things are useless. \u2019<\/p>\n
