Kathmandu. The Government of India has gifted a vehicle to the Government of Nepal for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4. Vehicles coming from India for the election purpose have been deposited at Singha Durbar. On Tuesday, the Embassy of India handed over 61 cabin pickup vans to the Government of Nepal.
Likewise, 54 more vehicles have arrived at Singha Durbar yesterday. The vehicles are yet to be formally handed over, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs, through the Ministry of Finance, had demanded vehicles from the Indian government for the purpose of the elections. The Government of India has provided 61 vehicles in the first phase.
It is said that the Government of India will provide around 650 small and big vehicles for the elections this time. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the vehicles will be distributed to various places and bodies on the basis of their need and utility during the elections. See the rest of the image:
