BBC documentary is living proof of geopolitical maneuvering: Shankar Pokhrel

Kathmandu. CPN (ML) general secretary and former minister Sankar Pokharel said the BBC documentary was a living proof of geo-political maneuvering.

“Any attempt to exert external influence on the internal political process of the sovereign nation through social media is unacceptable,” Pokharel said.

They have raised questions about whether the leakage of such material at an important and sensitive time of the election was a coincidence or a deliberate interference.

“The BBC documentary released on the eve of the elections is not just a piece of communication, it is a living proof of geo-political maneuvering. Stating that Nepali people themselves should protect democracy, Pokharel said that Nepal’s sovereignty was our common responsibility.
