Kathmandu. In Rupandehi-2, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) has emerged as the frontrunner in the preliminary vote counting.
CPN-UML’s Bishnu Poudel received 4,074 votes while CPN-UML’s Shulabh Kharel received 4,074 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Chunna Prasad Sharma Poudel came third with 504 votes.
Out of 1,865 votes counted in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-1, Kharel got 1,293 votes. CPN-UML’s Paudel received 245 votes while NC’s Chunna Prasad garnered 199 votes. NCP’s Bishwadeep Pandey got 8 votes.
There are a total of 135,050 voters in Rupandehi constituency-2. The counting of votes is underway. Likewise, Kharel is leading in Tilottama municipality-1. He garnered 2,781 votes from this ward. CPN-UML’s Bishnu Poudel received 609 votes while NCP’s Bishwa Deep Pandey received 35 votes, according to election officer Rajendra Neupane. Counting has been completed in two out of 23 areas in this area. Counting of votes is underway in Sainamaina-1.
