Kathmandu. Jagadish Kharel, a lawmaker elected from Lalitpur constituency-2 of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has met the family of Binod Maharjan, who was martyred during the Zenji movement on September 7 and 24.

Kharel met the family of martyr Binod Maharjan, 34, of Patan Sundhara-Dupat in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-7 on Tuesday and sought blessings.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, he said that he went to Binod Maharjan’s house to seek blessings before going to thank the people after being elected. He said that he was elected to the parliament on the basis of the sacrifices of the people of Jenji.

“I have come to Binod Maharjan’s house to seek blessings before going to thank the people after being elected. “I became a minister from the Jenji People’s Movement, I am a candidate from the National Independent Party, and I have been elected to the parliament on the basis of the sacrifices of the Jenji people,” he said.

He said that the movement of the martyrs and representatives of the Genji movement against corruption, employment and prosperity is still incomplete. He claimed that the unfinished revolution of the Jenji movement will now be completed by the RSP government.

“The way the martyrs and representatives of the Genji movement protested was against corruption, for jobs and prosperity,” he said. I wanted to ensure a future in the country. That wish is still unfulfilled. In order to complete this unfinished revolution, the people have given a two-thirds majority to the RSP through ballot papers from all over the country. They believe that the country will now move on the path of change. ’
