Newly appointed Vice-President Bhandari takes oath (seven photos)

Kathmandu. Newly-appointed Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA) Lila Kumari Bhandari has been sworn in today. Narayan Prasad Dahal took the oath of office and secrecy amidst a function held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, on Tuesday.

CPN-UML lawmaker Bhandari was elected unopposed to the post of vice-chair on Monday.

The National Assembly (NA) on Monday unanimously passed the proposal presented by Prem Prasad Dangal seeking Bhandari’s candidature to be the vice-chair of the National Assembly. Immediately after the swearing-in ceremony, she will reach Singha Durbar today itself and take the oath of office.
