Kathmandu. Police have arrested the proprietor of Sunflower Oil Producer Company. Police have arrested Bijaya Shrestha, proprietor of Omkar Oil Industries Pvt Ltd, a sunflower oil production company owned by Chhahari and Omkar.
According to Rameshwor Karki, spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office of Nepal Police, he has been accused of selling the oil in small quantities while packaging.
Omkar Oil Industries, Godavari Municipality, Lalitpur. 5 in Lele. Police also confiscated 905 cartons of oil from Shrestha.
The police received information that the sunflower oil of this brand was being sold in packaging below the prescribed standard. Police said that he was found weighing less than the prescribed standard during the investigation.
Spokesperson of the Crime Investigation Office, Karki, said that the case has been sent to the District Police Range, Lalitpur for further investigation.
