Government hospitals in seven provinces to be transformed into specialised health centres

Kathmandu. The government has announced to transform government hospitals in seven provinces into specialised health facilities.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle said this in the budget statement for the coming fiscal year 2083/84.

“The main government hospitals in all seven provinces will be transformed into teaching hospitals and specialized health centres in a phased manner,” Wag said. ’

Likewise, the investment worthy resources in the Employees Decoration Fund, Citizen Investment Fund and Social Security Fund would be mobilized in health infrastructure, medical education and specialised health services.
