Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrolling has arrested 15 people in possession of banned drugs from different parts of the country.
Police have arrested Bishal Bhandari of Charikot municipality-6 in Dolakha with 15 tablets that can be purchased only on doctor’s recommendation from Bhaktapur municipality-10.
Likewise, a youth of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-3 was arrested with brown heroin from the bank of Mohana River in ward no. 3 of Kailali, two persons with brown heroin from Kunda Chowk of Raptisonari rural municipality-6 in Banke district, one from Baschowk of Inaruwa municipality-4 of Sunsari and one from Itahari sub-metropolis-18 with the same drug and cash worth Rs 47,500.
Likewise, police arrested one person from Bhokraha Narsingh rural municipality-6, two from Dharan sub-metropolis-17, one from Tulsipur sub-metropolis-17 of Dang, two from Birendranagar municipality-2 of Surkhet and three from Belauri municipality-8 of Kanchanpur. Heroin was recovered from all the accused and they were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday.
