Kathmandu. Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe has said that he had to witness a tragic scene of a person committing suicide due to his ability to question questions in the parliament.
Referring to Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s remark that Nepal has encroached on India’s territory, he said that the lawmakers of the ruling party did not speak in response to the statement that Nepal has encroached on India’s border.
He also said that the parliament had tried to answer the Prime Minister but he did not come and would not be looking for the Prime Minister now.
“Congress is not a party of corpses and slaves. But as of today, I am witnessing a tragic scene of a person committing suicide with the ability to ask questions in this parliament,” he said, adding, “Someone from the very position of power may dare to say that Nepal has encroached on the Indian border.” ’
Angdembe said it was shameful that a majority of lawmakers accepted Nepal’s statement that it has encroached on India’s territory.
