Kathmandu. Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) lawmaker Yubaraj Dulal has demanded removal of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s statement on border from the parliamentary record.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Monday, Dulal pointed out the need for the Speaker to rule on the Prime Minister’s statement. He said that his party’s demand that the Prime Minister should be present in the House and give clarification on his statement was justified.
“The Prime Minister’s statement on border is against the national interest. It should be removed from the record and the Speaker should rule for it. Our party’s demand that the Prime Minister should come to the House and give clarification is justified,” Dulal said.
Likewise, he drew the attention of the government towards news that an Indian Army helicopter landed in Darchula and demanded a clear response in this regard. He urged the government to make public the facts about the incident as information has been made public that a high-level official of Indian security agencies was on board.
“Yesterday, news came that an Indian Army helicopter landed at a land area in Darchula where some key Indian security personnel were on board. I want the government’s response on this,” he said.
Lawmaker Dulal stressed that the government should be clear on the issues related to the border and national security.
