Instructions to provide gas cylinders to any company

Kathmandu. The supply of LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley has become difficult due to the impact on the supply system due to the floods. In such a situation, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav has directed the concerned bodies to make necessary arrangements for easy availability of gas.

Minister Yadav has directed to provide gas in exchange for cylinders of any company. She has given this directive so that it will be applicable only in the Kathmandu Valley. His secretariat said on Wednesday that if gas cylinders of one company are not available, arrangements have been made to provide gas by interchanging with cylinders of another company at the same price.

The minister believes that after the implementation of this provision, if the consumers do not get the cylinders of certain brands they are using immediately, they will be able to get gas easily through the cylinders of any other company. The Secretariat has said that this step has been taken with the aim of providing relief to the consumers by immediately addressing the supply problem caused by natural disasters (floods).
