Kathmandu. CPN-UML has opened its account from Bajhang in the far west. CPN-UML youth leader Ain Bahadur Mahar has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Bajhang.
He garnered 18,543 votes. Mahara’s nearest rival was NC’s joint general secretary Prakash Rasaili ‘Snehi’ who got 16,304 votes.
Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Min Bahadur Kunwar received 9,757 votes while Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Shailesh Kumar Singh got 9,263 votes.
CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Bharat Malla got 504 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Bishwa Prakash Jethara got 405 votes and Nepal Workers and Peasants Party’s Dal Bahadur Bohara got 41 votes.
