Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) leader Bhim Bahadur Rawal has been defeated in the 2082 House of Representatives election. He lost to Bharat Kumar Swar of Nepali Congress by a narrow margin.
Swar garnered 10,759 votes while Rawal garnered 10,233 votes. CPN-UML’s Dipak Bahadur Saud came third with 7,389 votes. Om Prakash Rawal of Rastriya Samajwadi Party received 1,739 votes.
