UML parliamentary party meeting today

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML parliamentary party meeting is convening today.

The meeting will take place at 11:00 am at the party central office, Chyasal.

Party former vice-chair and lawmaker Guru Baral said that today’s meeting is likely to finalize the names of parliamentary party leader, chief whip and whip.

The UML has 25 lawmakers including nine first-past-the-post (FPTP) and 16 PR (PR) seats. General Secretary of the party, Shankar Pokharel, will apprise the lawmakers about the party’s policy and its role in the parliament.
