International Workers’ Day is being celebrated all over the world.

Kathmandu. The 137th International Workers’ Day is being observed across the globe today.

The Labour Day is being celebrated with the slogan ‘Eight hours of work, eight hours of entertainment and eight hours of rest’.

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has been marking the day by organizing various programs throughout the country with the participation of representatives of employers and workers and representatives of various international organizations.

International Workers’ Day is celebrated on May 1 every year since 1890.
