Kathmandu. RUPANDEHI: A total of 19 Nepali nationals have been arrested on the charge of gambling at a casino in Siddharthanagar of Rupandehi.
A joint team of Lumbini Provincial Police Office and District Police Office, Rupandehi raided the Royal Kalinga Casino located inside Hotel Gautam Buddha International at Siddharthanagar Municipality-10 last night and arrested them.
Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Chand said the arrestees include four people involved in casino management and 15 gamblers.
Police have confiscated Rs 95,500 in cash, 17 mobile phones and 50 pieces of casino coins from them.
