Harka Sampang boycotts parliament meeting

Kathmandu. Harka Sampang, a member of the Labour and Culture Party, boycotted the parliament meeting. Speaker DP Aryal boycotted the House of Representatives on Wednesday, arguing that Speaker DP Aryal did not rule to allow Prime Minister Balen Shah to be present in the House.

Although he boycotted the meeting, other lawmakers of his party did not boycott the meeting.

Earlier, soon after the commencement of the meeting, Rai had demanded the Speaker to expel him from the House of Representatives Regulations 2079 BS as per Rule 31 (1) of the House of Representatives or to allow Balen to be present in the parliament.

But when the Speaker did not rule, he left the meeting hall with his bag.
