Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane meets PM Modi

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSS) President Rabi Lamichhane called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar on Monday.

During the meeting, various issues of bilateral interest were discussed.

During the meeting, Modi said he was ready to work closely with Nepal for shared prosperity and a bright future. He said that he was happy to meet Lamichhane. “I heartily welcome and fully support his desire to work closely together for a better future for shared prosperity and a bright future,” Modi said.

Ravi, who is on a visit to India on Monday, was given a grand welcome at the BJP office on Monday. Ravi was welcomed by BJP president Nitin Naveen.

On Tuesday, India’s External Affairs Minister S. Lamichhane also met Jaishankar and Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Nepali delegation led by Lamichhane left here on June 3 for a five-day visit at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Lamichhane’s spouse Nikita Poudel, joint general secretary of the RSP and member of the House of Representatives Bipin Kumar Acharya, RSP secretariat member and member of the House of Representatives Dipak Bohara and personal secretary Pradip Acharya are in the delegation.
