House of Representatives to discuss four ordinances

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Friday. The meeting scheduled for 11:00 am today will discuss and decide on the Finance Bill, Bill to Raise National Debt and various ordinances.

In the meeting, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present a proposal seeking consideration on the Finance Bill-2083 and the Bill to Raise National Debt-2083.

Similarly, the proposal seeking rejection of the ordinance tabled by lawmaker Khadak Bahadur Budha on the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance-2083 BS will be tabled for decision. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is scheduled to table a proposal seeking approval of the ordinance.

Similarly, the meeting will table the rejection motion registered by lawmaker Nita Ghatani regarding the Money Laundering Prevention (Third Amendment) Ordinance-2083 BS. After that, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle will table a motion seeking approval of the ordinance.

The meeting will take decision on the rejection motion put forth by lawmaker Aran Rai regarding the Cooperatives (first amendment) Ordinance-2083. Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal will then table the proposal, seeking approval of the ordinance.

Likewise, the meeting tabled the rejection proposal registered by lawmaker Kriparam Rana regarding the ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to the Academy of Health Sciences, 2083. Minister for Health and Sanitation Nisha Mehta is scheduled to table a proposal in the parliament seeking approval of the ordinance.
