Harka Sampang proposes to close open Nepal-India border

Kathmandu. Harka Sampang, chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, has said that the open border between India and Nepal should be closed. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that a visa system should be made for India as well.

“There should not be an open border between India and Nepal. Let’s create a visa system. Let’s seal. So that we know how many Nepalis are living in India, how many millions of Indians are living in Nepal. ’

According to him, various criminal activities including human trafficking have increased due to the open border.

He said, “The border of India and Nepal, which is nowhere else in the world, should be open. And records should be kept. ’
