Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place today. The meeting will be held at 1 pm on Thursday at Singha Durbar.

Various bills and reports will be tabled for the meeting.

In the meeting, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is likely to present the Citizens Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Payment and Settlement (First Amendment) Bill, 2083. He will also present a motion seeking consideration on the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, is scheduled to present a proposal seeking general discussion on the proposal to acquire membership of the Asian Legislative Council.

Likewise, the Speaker is scheduled to present a condolence motion on the demise of former National Assembly member Shukra Raj Sanyok.
