Kathmandu. Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has said that the first problem of Nepal is the problem of employment.
Addressing the party rural municipality committee restructuring program at Umakunda rural municipality in Ramechhap district on Saturday, Ghising said that Ujjyalo Nepal has prepared a roadmap to address the problems of employment in the district.
“We are effortful to make the country prosperous by carrying out green revolution so that Nepal can be made a prosperous nation not only in environmental but also economically and socially,” he said.
Stating that the country would not move forward by talking about many isms, Ghising said that despite talking about various isms in Nepal, there has not been economic progress in the country. He made it clear that the theoretical and ideological path of Bright Nepal is the middle path of economic transformation. “Many isms were talked about but the country did not progress, we do not indulge in any extremism, no extremism is acceptable for us, we are working to develop the country by including all,” Ghising said.
He said that the vision of Bright Nepal is to develop the country and bring the citizens of the lower class on the basis of equality. He believes that economic transformation in the country is not about making a few people rich but making the path of progress for all.
He made it clear that the Bright Nepal Party was moving ahead with the three-pillar policy of good governance, prosperity and social justice. He claimed that the country would be made prosperous by taking the country to economic transformation in the coming days.
He said that education and health will be made free in the country within five years after the formation of the government of Bright Nepal Party. He also claimed that up to 200 units of electricity can be provided free of cost.
Ghising said that his party has a plan to provide one thousand to two thousand units of electricity shares free of cost to every Nepali to make Nepalis prosperous. We can give at least 2,000 units of shares to those living in Nepal and at least 2,000 units of shares to those who send remittances working abroad, which will serve as a pension for them,” he said.
Stating that about 40,000 MW of electricity can be generated in 20 years, Ghising said that Nepal can earn Rs 20 to 3 trillion if 30,000 MW can be sold in India and Bangladesh. He said that using electricity instead of gas and oil in the country can save a lot of foreign money.
He said that green hydrogen is now being produced in Nepal and it can be used for vehicles and ships. Ghising said that green hydrogen will also be used to make urea fertilizer.
He said that water is also the basis for agriculture and water is also an important source for green tourism. Overall, water is also an important source for the participation of Nepali youth in the digital economy, he said. “We have established the Ujjalo Nepal Party with the objective of involving Nepali youths in the digital economy, providing employment to the youth in Nepal and making the country prosperous,” Ghising said.
