Nepali Congress to implement ‘special strategy’ targeting elections from February 21

. KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is to implement a ‘special strategy’ from February 7 targeting the upcoming elections. As per the strategy, office-bearers and members of various levels of the party will be deployed in their respective areas of responsibility till March 21.

The ‘Election Mobilization Directive’ prepared by the Nepali Congress has included provisions related to special strategy.TAG_OPEN_p_7 Targeting the last 30 days of the election, the policy of ‘Whoever is responsible for his work’ will be implemented.

The Election Mobilization Committee led by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka Sharma is preparing the election mobilization guidelines.TAG_OPEN_p_6 Sharma briefed the party about the party’s special strategy during a special state-level internal discussion programme being held at the party’s central office, according to his secretariat.

The Election Mobilization Committee is holding discussions on Gandaki Province today (TAG_OPEN_p_5 Wednesday). Earlier, the discussion of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces was held on Tuesday.

Current and TAG_OPEN_p_4 outgoing central office-bearers and members representing the central committee from the respective provinces, chairpersons of the district liaison committee, well-wishers and youth leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress based in Kathmandu are participating in the discussion.
