Parsa Region No. NCP candidate from Province 2 Manoj Chaudhary arrested

Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has elected from Parsa constituency no. Police have arrested Manoj Chaudhary, a candidate for Province 2.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hari Bahadur Basnet, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Parsa, the vehicle was stopped at Badnihar area and four persons including Chaudhary were arrested.

DSP Basnet said that some suspicious items were also found in the vehicle. The area has been cordoned off in view of security sensitivities.

Further investigation into the case is underway and detailed information will be given through a press conference, said Parsa Police.

The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) is contesting from Siraha constituency-no. Candidate from Province 3 Asheshwor Yadav has also been arrested. Yadav was arrested with cash during the silence period.
