Kathmandu. The government has been criticized from all sides after the government recommended President Ram Chandra Poudel to promulgate two ordinances related to the Constitutional Council and Cooperatives by proroguing the House of Representatives. After the government was in a minority in the Constitutional Council, the Balen Shah-led government is trying to fast-track the law by choosing the path of ordinance.

However, not only the opposition but some lawmakers of the ruling National Socialist Party (RSP) have expressed dissatisfaction over the government’s attempt to run the country through ordinances like the previous UML-NC-led government.

Most of the 6 opposition parties representing in the parliament have protested against the government’s move to bring the ordinance by bypassing the parliament. However, the RSP, which had opposed the ordinance when it was in the opposition in the past, has not said anything about the ordinance.

Meanwhile, the meeting will discuss the ordinance and the latest political developments among the lawmakers of the available parties, including Rastriya Samajwadi Party President Rabi Lamichhane.

General Secretary and General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti said that the lawmakers including President Lamichhane will hold discussions with the lawmakers after 11:00 am at the party office in Singha Durbar.

According to him, discussions will be held on contemporary politics, party and government.

“There are some conditions that need to be eradicated at the speed of the government,” Burlakoti said, “The ordinance has been done keeping that in mind.” ’

General Secretary Burlakoti said the government brought the ordinance after holding discussions at the highest level of the party.

“The ordinance was promulgated after general discussion at the top level of the party as there was a need to make some laws through a fast track to meet the people’s expectations,” General Secretary Burlakoti said, adding, “However, a detailed study on the content of the ordinance is yet to be carried out.” ’

Stating that the general public started showing problems from the second day of the formation of the government, he said that the government chose the path of fast track as it was natural for the people who have been in trouble for years to bring the problems to the government.
