UML meeting in Gundu to finalize work division

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML Central Secretariat meeting has begun today to finalize the work division of party leaders. The meeting started at the residence of party chairman KP Sharma Oli in Gundu on Monday to discuss the work division of the leaders proposed by party chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The work division of the office-bearers and central members elected from the 11th general convention of the CPN-UML held in December last year had not been done yet. In the proposal of division of work forwarded by Oli, it is mentioned that some leaders will be given double and triple responsibilities.

Likewise, the meeting is expected to raise the issue of party restructuring and transformation in the campaign being run by some leaders and cadres.

Taking responsibility for the failure, the leaders and cadres have been campaigning demanding that Chairman Oli should leave the party. They have launched a signature campaign for the special convention.

On the other hand, today’s meeting is also expected to discuss the responsibilities of former President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Although Chairman Oli said in Monday’s meeting to open Bhandari’s membership, it is being watched with interest what responsibility will be given to him.
