Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that the border dispute between Nepal and India is not only one-sided but it has been seen that both countries have encroached on each other’s land in some places.

Responding to a question raised by lawmaker of Labour and Culture Party Aryan Rai in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, the Prime Minister said that not only has India encroached Nepal’s territory, Nepal has also encroached upon Indian territory in many places.

“You might be surprised that India has not only encroached upon Nepal’s land, Nepal has also encroached upon Indian land in many places,” he said. We just came to know about this. So, we will sit down and discuss the two countries. ’

He said that the government has relocated the people living in vulnerable situation on the banks of rivers and rivulets of the Kathmandu Valley to safer places on humanitarian grounds.

He said that although it may appear to be raised from the outside, the real objective is to save the lives of the citizens. He also urged the people not to search for something that has not been done in 35 years in 35 minutes, saying it takes time to manage the land.

He said, “They were living on the banks of the rivers in the Kathmandu Valley in a risky situation.

We have shifted them to another place. Although it may seem like a chase, I told the federal government four years ago when I was at the local level. The government and the party are of the view that the land should be managed by keeping it in the holding center. That’s what we do. Their health condition was also critical, so Kathmandu was given priority.

His life was saved by the government. A committee on land management has been formed. Three ministries are working on this issue. It’s not in a hurry, it’s going to take as long as it takes. It takes some time not to search for something that has not been done in 35 years. ’

He clarified that not only the government but also the cooperatives were collecting the money from the cooperatives in the process of returning the money of the cooperatives.

He said that although from the outside, it seems that only the government is paying the money, but in reality, the cooperative sector is also actively collecting money.

According to him, the government has expedited the process of recovering the property, loans and balance of the cooperatives to return the money to the savers.

If you look at the news outside, it is seen that only the government’s money has gone to return the money of the cooperative savers. But we are also collecting money from cooperatives. ’

Stating that millions of rupees have been recovered from the cooperative sector last week, the Prime Minister said that the same amount would be used to return the affected savers.

“In the last week’s report, three crore rupees were raised. We have to raise the money,” he said.
