Election police training begins in Tanahun

. Basic training for the election of the members of the House of Representatives (HoR) has begun in Tanahun district in order to conduct the election in a peaceful, fair and impartial manner. Training is being imparted to the youths selected as per the vacancy of the Ministry of Home Affairs in different places of the district to make them capable of election security.

Inaugurating the training, Chief District Officer Shivalal Tiwari said that the election is the ‘Mahakumbh’ of democracy.TAG_OPEN_p_3 The training will impart in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge on security management, crowd control, legal provisions and election code of conduct.

The training is also being conducted in Abukhaireni, Belchautara, Bhanu and Bandipur along with Patan playground.TAG_OPEN_p_2 According to the District Police Office, Tanahu, the trainees will be mobilized for security at various polling stations and centers in the district after the completion of the training.
