Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the families of martyrs should be given priority in the context of transitional justice and general justice.
“The rush for justice is for mothers who have lost their children the most,” he said.
Responding to a query from media persons that former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was arrested out of revenge, he said that the children who lost their children are in a hurry to get justice. He claimed that the families of the martyrs and the injured have the first right to get justice. He stressed that politically, the government should give first priority to the rights of the martyrs’ families and mothers.
“Mothers who have lost their young children at home are in a hurry for justice,” he said. No one else is in such a hurry. Everyone has the right to justice, but wiping the tears of the martyr’s mother should be done first. We are under public audit. All our actions, expressions, political practices and decisions are before the common people. ’
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane said his party and its leaders were always under ‘public audit’. He said the people were closely observing every activity, expression and political decisions of the party. He expressed the commitment that every decision made by the RSP should be transparent and the party would move ahead as per the people’s expectation.
