2570th Buddha Jayanti celebrated with peace rally in Bouddha

Kathmandu. The 2570th Buddha Jayanti was celebrated in a peaceful atmosphere at the Buddha Stupa area today.

On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, a peace rally was taken out in the morning with the participation of monks, devotees and locals. Participants in the rally marched around Buddhist stupas, spreading the message of peace, non-violence and tolerance.

The program wished for world peace and human welfare by recalling the teachings of Gautam Buddha. In addition, worship, lamp lighting and preaching ceremonies were also held in various monasteries.

Every year on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, there is a special excitement in the Buddhist region, where there is a significant presence of domestic and foreign tourists as well. This year too, the area was made lively by the enthusiastic participation of the devotees.
