House of Representatives meeting

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Monday.

The meeting is taking place at 11:00 am today at Singha Durbar. The meeting will discuss the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present a proposal to initiate general discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2083/084 along with a statement. After this, general discussion will start on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2083/084 and Finance Minister Wagle will answer the questions raised during the discussions.

As part of the management work, Finance Minister Wagle is scheduled to present various important bills in the House. He will present the Appropriation Bill, 2083 and present the bill in the parliament. Likewise, the Finance Minister has proposed to present the ‘Bill to Raise National Loan, 2083’ and the ‘Nepal Rastra Bank (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083’.

Bills and conventions related to other ministries will also be presented in the meeting. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Poudel, will present a proposal seeking to send the Tourism Bill, 2082 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussions.

Similarly, Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav signed the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention on Labour Inspection, 1947. 81′ and ‘Protocol No. 81 of 2014 to the International Labour Organization’s Binding Labour Convention, 1930. 29’ is the agenda to be tabled in the House.
